Bio

Josh is honored and blessed to have the opportunity to coach in the community he grew up in. Josh is an Adel native and an ADM graduate. Josh attended Southern Virginia University and William Penn University as an undergraduate student. He received his bachelor’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in strength and conditioning from William Penn University and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa.

While pursuing his degree, Josh participated in cross country and track and field. He was a 2-time USCAA All-American in cross country and a USCAA All-American in track and field with a 3rd place finish in the Javelin at Nationals. Josh was also a 2005 Drake Relays qualifier in the Decathlon while attending William Penn University.

Josh and his wife, Micole, live in Adel. They have a son and three daughters.  Their son attends the University of Iowa and their daughters attend ADM. In his spare time, Josh enjoys traveling the world, spending time with family and friends, and attending live music concerts. GO TIGERS!
